OCALA INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW is honored to host the final class of 2025 for the inaugural year of the ARHPA Green Driver Roadster Championship. It has been a very successful year for this innovative class that came from a suggestion by Don Deardorff at the 2025 UPHA Convention during our annual ARHPA meeting.
Each participant in the ARHPA Green Driver Championship will receive a Freedman’s halter. The winning trainer of the entry will receive a $500 gift card from Bowman Tack. The Standardbred Journal is giving every entry a page of advertising. The winning entry will also receive a Full Color Ad in the Saddle Horse Report, as well special ribbons, trophies, and a neck garland. Trainers of 1st through 5th will share a purse of $1,500, with 35% going to 1st, 25% going to 2nd, 20% going to 3rd, and 4th & 5th receiving 10%. The trainer’s purse is sponsored by Sunrise Stables.
This class has been added to the schedule as class 81.1, on Thursday evening after class 81. The specs are as follows:

Attendants are allowed in these classes and classes must be split if more than eight (8) entries. To be judged on manners, performance, quality, and speed.
