Everything happening during 2021 OIHS!
We have a full week of activities for exhibitors to enjoy during our inaugural Ocala International Horse Show on October 25th through the 30th at the beautiful World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida!
Every morning from 7 AM – 9 AM our Breakfast Wagon will be making the rounds!
Monday, October 25th is the date of our Welcome Dinner Party at CF Vintage Farm, hosted by Deborah Butler and catered by Blue Water Bay. Guests will enjoy food and drink, tastings by local distilleries, a keepsake photo and lots of fun. This even is by RSVP only, so if you have not already opted in, there are no available openings.
Tuesday, October 26th kicks off with a Trainers Meeting at 12:00 PM in the Arena 4 Bleacher Area with lunch provided. A UPHA Chapter 16 Meeting will follow this in the same location.
Tuesday Evening’s Session VIP on the Stirrups Patio from 6 PM – 9 PM will feature the Jumper BBQ buffet, entertainment, and admittance is by wristband purchased in the OIHS Show Office.
Junior Judging happens in the general seating area during the 7 PM session. Register to participate on the ASHBA app or find out more here.
Wednesday, October 27th features a Vendor Happy Hour from 5 PM – 7 PM in Arena 4 in the vendor area. Enjoy chips, salsa and margaritas as you mingle and shop with our fantastic vendors, and you can enter a drawing to win prizes!
Wednesday Evening’s Session VIP on the Stirrups Patio from 6 PM – 9 PM will feature the Quarter Horse buffet, entertainment, and admittance is by wristband purchased in the OIHS Show Office.
Thursday, October 28th is our Golf Cart Decorating Contest at 11:30 AM, location to be announced! We’ll also have the Evening’s Session VIP on the Stirrups Patio from 6 PM – 9 PM, featuring the Italian Cowboy buffet, entertainment, and admittance is by wristband purchased in the OIHS Show Office.
Also happening on Thursday will be the After Show Party featuring the great Samuri Lady‘s Retirement! Sponsored by her adoring owners, Ed & Candi Aversenti, this will take place outside Arena 4 and will offer an Asian inspired food assortment and a Sake bar! Come and meet this wonderful showgirl and let’s give her a grand sendoff. Watch this glorious mare take a victory pass with Candi here!
Friday, October 29th we’ll have another round of Junior Judging during the 7 PM evening session. There will also be another Evening’s Session VIP on the Stirrups Patio from 6 PM – 9 PM, featuring the Southern Hunter buffet, entertainment, and admittance is by wristband purchased in the OIHS Show Office.
Don’t miss our BATTLE OF THE BREEDS at the end of the Friday evening session! It will be an exciting springboard to our Halloween Carnival Exhibitors Party in the WEC Stadium Pavilion! Join us for food, fun and a Live Band rocking your favorite 80’s music. And what kind of Halloween party would it be without a COSTUME CONTEST? Be prepared and don’t miss the fun!
And a special YOUTH PARTY will be hosted by Christy Parker’s youth team during the Exhibitor’s Party!
Saturday, October 30th we’ll honor the great show horse and sire, WGC MARC OF CHARM at the Mr. Pickles Toy Store at the Upper Terrace Entrance. This grand stallion has been immortalized in a Breyer model and we are thrilled to have this Breyer Horse Celebration at our show. All ages welcome and the fun begins at noon.
Our final Evening’s Session VIP on the Stirrups Patio from 6 PM – 9 PM will feature a Latin Floribbean BBQ buffet, entertainment, and admittance is by wristband purchased in the OIHS Show Office.
